Hello!

Hello again, and thank you for visiting my site! I'm Tisha, the founder of The Powder Room. I named my studio after the cozy New York theater powder rooms that were always inviting with comfy chairs, pretty mirrors and lights. I loved the idea of a quiet place that is pretty and peaceful to relax and catch your breath. That's what The Powder Room is to me. 

I've worked in skin care for 15+ years, starting as a Clinique Girl where I fell in love with helping people feel beautiful. My first job was working with one of Orlando's top plastic surgeons. I learned every product and treatment available, traveling to Montreal, Atlanta, New York, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas to learn the latest practices. I'm extremely fascinated with the science of medical grade skin care and once had the opportunity to study with the top aestheticians in Beverly Hills (I pretended to be the "Aesthetician to the stars.")

I work to keep one foot in the medical world door, maintaining close relationships with Physicians, PA's and Cosmetic Chemists.  Its not rare for a clients to ask my advice on a cosmetic procedure and who my recommendation would be. I have walked many people through medical procedures from pre to post op. 

Outside of work, I love keeping up with my wonderful 9-year old son and being active, studying holistic healing practices like acupuncture, reflexology and Cranial Sacral Therapy and also Barre and Yoga as I believe beauty really is an inside job. 

I love my work and clients. For me, making a connection and helping people feel beautiful inside and out is the very best part of my job. We're so busy these days, its hard to find time for yourself. I'm always honored when someone spends their precious "me time" with me. I've worked with many clients for 15+ years we really share life together, which to me is a gift.
